6 July 2015. Today I experienced another episodes of tachycardia, full surge of adrenaline in my body...which is almost similar during my final year professional exam...
I have chosen Hospital Sultan Ismail, Johor Bahru as my first choice together with my girlfriend. Fortunately, we get our 1st choice successfully during application of ehouseman (July batch). Thank god so much, thank for yours bless....Any of my future colleagues? Great to meet you all in future. =)
I going to share some tips and tricks during application of ehouseman especially for those couples who like working together in same hospital.
Plenty of fresh medical graduate students did not know how to apply e-houseman, what process they going to undergo in this system, and when the system open for application. Here are some brief information for you all:
1. Initially, you need to know WHEN e-houseman open up for application. Usually it will be opened every 2months period. For example, last intake was in May, so next intake will be in July, and the coming up will be September (it is not definitely, as things will change anytime).
Before you are qualified to apply ehouseman, you need to get an job offer letter from SPA. And few days before the e-houseman open for application, you will receive an email from Bahagian Sumber Manusia telling you the date of ehouseman open for application.
Permohonan penempatan secara atas talian melalui sistem e-Housemen, http://ehousemen.moh.gov.my/auth/main akan dibuka mulai jam 12.00 tengah hari, 6 Julai 2015 (Isnin) dan permohonan akan ditutup pada 13 Julai 2015 (Isnin).
Make sure: Check your email frequently or visit the e-houseman official website for the updates.
2. Then you can start register your Username and Password in e-houseman website after you get the email. Application of the e-houseman will only opened during the date and time mentioned.
3. What I need to prepare during application of e-houseman?
You can go to KKM official website to download Manual Pengguna e-Houseman (Tab "Perkhidmatan Online"). And read it thoroughly, so you can get a basic idea of what you need to prepare in advanced.
Here are some summary of the application:
1) Maklumat peribadi -- most information had been filled up for you, you just need to fill a few slots that are blank. (bilangan anak, and also bandar, no of siblings) --i cant remember which are blank..too nervous.
2) Maklumat Keluarga- This is very very very very very Tricky and trouble part. You need to fill every of your family members-dad, mum, brother, sister.
Be prepared for the info : Name, I/C, Age, Home address, Working field, Jawatan they hold, Kaum(hokkien?cantonese?...), and handphone no.,
Highlighted is COMPULSORY.
In my point of view, never try to skip your siblings info by reducing no of siblings (you never know what will happened)
3) Education level- Fill up your previous education level such as stpm, matriculation etc, and you need to fill up the Tahun Kelayakan. No PMR/ UPSR.
4) Penempatan- Choose the state desired, and then pick up the hospital you want, provided there are still slots for you.
You need to fill from 1) --> 2) --> 3) --> 4) Penempatan --> 5) Confirmation --> 6) Print
Once you had sent your confirmation, you will no longer be able to change ANYTHING. No appeal can be done too.

1. For "Maklumat Keluarga", besides Parents and Siblings, how about Grandparents? Do we need to include the information of Grandparents?
2. For the "Education level", SPM and Degree are both already there, so we dont need to fill in. No need for PMR and UPSR. So only STPM/Foundation/Matriculation/A-level/.. need to fill in. Is it right?
Would be so glad if you can give comment on your experiences regarding these =D
