Latest House-Officer Working Hours- My personal opinion

Few months ago, we received a notice from KKM regarding BRANDED NEW working hours and shift system of house officers.
Before that, we heard a lot of complaints from parents/ house officers, regarding the inhuman/ crazy/ stupid/ hellish/ working hours as a doctor. IF you graduate from foreign university such as Australia, you will definitely in Culture shock when you doing your housemanship in Malaysia. Haha...you need to be resuscitated STAT.
You can see a lot of house officer quit in their first few months of working
Most of the reasons are due to unable to adapt/cope with the working culture/ environment.
It is not easy to become a doctor, and you only realize when you enter your working life. It is late but never too late....

I believe some of the fresh graduates (MD) do not have the ambition as a doctor. They studied MD course due to
-parents' order
-pandai study but all tak minat, study medic larrr.
-siblings studied medic/ relative are doctors, have to study doctor lorr
-study medic good life , earn lots money in future, good mah....

When the bubbles of the great life / great future as a doctor break, they gone to groove of sorrow / groove of depression. They cannot cope with the working cultures/ working hours as a doctor.
Complaints arise. I wondering why you choose to become a doctor if you keen to work like office hours (life or death occur anytime)
If you want to work like office hours, choose to become clerk/ waiter/admin etc. You can leave your workplace and bring your tasks and do at home if necessary. However, as a doctor, you can leave your patients.

Then chipped in this House officer can only work about 60-62 hours per week with shift system , no 2 shifts in 1 day. All kind of rules. Nowadays, house officer worked like nurse shift system.
Long live boss...

2 word: too pampered
How about medical officer? We on-call almost 36 hours ?
Aren't we human being? Why there aren't any shift system for us? Why we can work >62 hours per week?
What about specialist?
I cannot brain this...

It is okay...haha, because i do not really care. Because experiences and the skills acquired, mostly equivalent to working hours/ attitude/ responsibility.
In future, are these MO-to be, readily face the reality when stepped in MO-life? Will another waves of complaints occur? Let see. Never ending story....Good luck ~
