8As Student Unable To Get Into Matriculation
Recently, there was a news, the main idea of the news was about:
A boy from single parent family, dreamed to become a doctor in future
-obtained good results in SPM (8As) but he unable to get into matriculation program
-He appealed but the outcome remained disappointing
-He and his mother crying in tears
-His mother mentioned that since small he do not like to study, but subsequently he study hard and finally get 8As
-Hopefully anyone can help him get into matriculation program
After reading this articles, I believed plenty of people will feel sympathy or empathy to this boy.
Or started to make noise /complaint saying our government is always unfair etc.
Why would you empathy or sympathy him?
-Single parent family?
-Worked hard get 8As but failed to enter matrix
-Family crying and sad
-The boy hope can get into local university
Subsequently, there was a ?politician saying that, what the big deal? go study STPM lar!
-a lot of negative noises arose
For those making noises to government...i would like to tell you that
-you are immature and still living in your gentle loving bubble
-you should open your eye to see the reality except you are blindfolded
-you should use your rusty brain to see the big picture
I am stunned to see people who can speak without using their brain. Please think twice before you speak. Words can be sharp as knife. And analyze the condition in a different aspect.
Why I would say so and why i couldn't have a single sense of empathy towards this boy?
-1st : This boy is clever enough to ask for help from newspaper etc
I believe there were plenty of students who failed to get into matriculation/ JPA (and they score very well, maybe more than 8As). But most of them accepted their fate, and facing the realities, study hard for STPM. Those who seek helps from newspaper, haha.. their personalities is not simple/ innocent.
-2nd: Single parents/ study hard to get 8As shouldnt make you pitiful
-there were students from single parent family/ chaos family / some have to work+ study together to make a living. And i believe everyone study hard to get >8As. People did make effort. Your effort doesnt weigh heavily than others. How about those having 9As/ 10As/ 11As but failed to get into matriculation?
-3rd: And I believe this boy should know there was lots of people who getting >8As but did not manage get into matriculation program
-why would you like to force government using social media approach?
-i really do not like this kind of attitude
-4th: Study STPM did guarantee you a local university
After STPM, you can get into local university 100% (low cost fees). IF you dream to become doctor, get 4As in STPM. There was still people out there get into medicine program after studied STPM. You shouldnt keep cry over a split milk, keep going and focus on your STPM now.
Lastly, life is unfair. You have to accept it. There was a lot of examples in the past (11As did not get JPA, 10As did not get matriculation), and they had to study STPM. And now, you have only 8As....how to compare? Have you look at yourself before dare dare go seek help from social media? This does not make you proud, i feel more ashamed. Sorry to say that....
I got full 11A1 in my SPM, some of my friends got 10A1/ 9A1. They were offered JPA to german/ australia etc, but i got into matriculation. Is this fair for me? No. I accepted this world is never fair. Move forward and fight for yourself. Not seeking empathy /sympathy from others.
There is always rainbow at the end of the road! God will open a better door for you when he decide to close this door. Cheers!
