Prodrome as A Houseman: Busy Life Ahead!
I jus realized i did nt have enough time to complete this post and it remained as draft till nw. Nvm, i just flash back and add on things.
Today I don't feel like doing anything, I just wanna lay in my bed....
This is Not possible for me anymore T_T ....(count down 1day before PTM camp, X days before housemanship)
As I will be posted in Hospital Sultan Ismail soon, the preparation of doing housemanship are not easy.
Question: What should i prepared in Advanced prior to housemanship?
Ans: Stamp/Cop doctor, KWSP/EPF account (if you do not have any), accomodation, program transformasi minda (PTM) camp, documents for lapor diri/requirement from SPA letter, etc...
Woah, so many things need to be done in advanced...yup, I had been busy settle down all my stuff. It is still a big headache for me even though I had prepared it in advanced.
1st things: Requirement from SPA. Once you get your SPA letter, you are requested to fill up those form given, esp borang setuju perlantikan in which you need post back to SPA office immediately.
After that, you need to go for a medical checkup in klinik kesihatan or private clinic
* Remember printed out 1 or 2more set borang kesihatan and let doctor in charge to fill up for you. You will need 3set at last.
Then you need go settle your Surat Akuan. You need find a lawyer or judge who help people/government servants to fill up this surat. The procedure is simple, no need swear, just present your i/c then chit chat 1-2minutes with them while waiting they fill up the surat for you. No need wear formal, just wear long pant and collar shirt. Fees of about RM4 will be charged. Easy job.

For accomodation, it was really a great headache. I am from batu pahat, so i need rent a room/house at somewhere near the hospital. I can guarantee...renting a nice comfortable and cheap house in that area is super difficult. Why? For those my colleagues-to-be, "nilai tanah/rumah" near Hospital Sultan Ismail are very high as it is a developing area. It is a very strategy places for Shopping, Yamcha, etc.
Aeon Tebrau is located nearby, sunway university also there, and lots of new cafes are mushrooming.
I had contact about 9agents in order to help me find an ideal house/apartment but it ended up none of those are satisfactory. If you wan cheap, the condition of house might be poor; if you able to pay more, then it will be easier for you to rent a better house. Due to tight budget, we prefer something cheaper.
Fortunately, I had successfully rent a house through a agent friend of mine. The price was reasonable. For those who live far away, and u did not have enough time to search for room. U can stay at hostel provided by HSI temporary (about 1 to 2months if i was not mistaken) but it will be troublesome as u need to move every belongings twice.
Not to forget to bring along photocopy of ur parents' ic and ur car registration paper, ur ic too. It will be needed in orientation of HSI. Besides, bring all ur cert such as spm, stpm, matriculation, as u need to fill in the year and result during orientation.
Lastly if u need use internet in ur new room/house, u can try applg TM net. As other 3G line was not so good in HSI area (i do not know is true or myths)
But i am sure who use Yellow man, go chg it STAT!!! In hsi, the road and the door are too narrow for them to pass through. Go for umobike, redtwo!!!! I am frustrated to use Yellow man here!!!!
And enjoy the remaining holiday u left...the life working as houseman is not that easy....u had to mentally be prepared. :)
