Hi everyone, I am going to move to a new website.

Thank you

Recently, something crosses my mind...

It was regarding how should we treat our life?

Studied medical degree for 5years.

Waiting for houseman ship for a year

Working like a slave as a house officer in a tertiary hospital for 2years (working hours is more than others, the pay is not equivalent at all.

Finally, become a medical officer. but currently, most of the doctors are treated as contract MOs

Where is the promising future as a doctor?

Now we stand in the middle of the crossroad

-should we continue to fight for what we dream of? I believe most of us want to become someone great in the future, especially in medical school. Physician, surgeon, radiologist etc. I guess reality will really beat you hard, smash you and punch you. You might think twice for those professionalism

-OR After few years of hardship, most of us choose to settle down as a chronic medical officer or doctor in a private clinic or hospital.

-OR pursue a secondary career which might bring you a higher income and lesser burden/ workload. And you can have more personal/ family time

Haha....indeed a difficult choice in our life.

Frame vs Life vs Family vs Money

Entering master program is another 4years of struggle. If you thought you have finally become a specialist, you still need to learn like a baby in front of all consultants. It is a never-ending learning process until you reach the final end of your career. It is not easy.

Do you really enjoy your life? Do you prefer travelling? Do you prefer to stress with your work most of the time? Or do you still studying hard to prepare for your exam while others enjoying their life? Any difference if you are a MRCP /MRCS holder? Do you really have your personal time to enjoy with? How much effort, time and money paid for that paper? Is it really worth it?

It is really worth it if you really like it. If you enjoy it, go ahead.

Just want to make everyone realize, think properly, what do you want for your life? There are lots of choices in this world.

Do not envy a doctor's life. It is never easy, time consuming and never a money-earning career.

Few things you should spend time on:

-financial planning

-investment

-insurance

-family and lover relationship

-personal satisfaction

Maybe we can discuss the above topic in future.
